Short Biography:

My name is Khurshid Jahan, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Pharmacy working with thirteen (13) years of experience in teaching and research at the World University of Bangladesh, with a modern and effective teaching methodology that promotes an ideal teaching and learning environment. Now working as a PhD research fellow at Jahangirnagar University. My working area is advanced Formulation Technology & my interested fields of research are formulation technology, physiology-based pharmacology & phytochemical science. My philosophy of teaching is to create leaders to make the field of pharmacy better for both pharmacists and their patients as pharmacists play a vital role in the healthcare system by ensuring the safe and effective use of medicine. I am a firm believer in student-centered learning and am constantly searching for fresh and imaginative approaches to curriculum delivery. My aim is to pique students' interest in the subject matter and consistently encourage them to have faith in their ability to solve problems. I have publications in national & international journals & conducting research currently in pharmaceutics. In the department, I am taking both theoretical and practical courses, designing course curriculum, supervising extracurricular activities, organizing and delivering lectures using the latest technology of teaching, assessing students' course work and materials, responsible for related administrative work, and providing mentoring and supporting students' activities.
