Minimum 160 credit hours (duration 4 years approximately) should be earned for graduation in B. Pharm. (Hons) degree for regular students. Extra 3 credits of mathematics should complete the students who have no mathematics in HSC.
Total GPA 8.0 (out of 10.0) in S.S.C and H.S.C with minimum 3.5 individually either in S.S.C or in H.S.C., are required to apply for admission in the B. Pharm program. The students having GPA 4.0 (out of 5.0) in chemistry and biology and GPA 3.5 (out of 5.0) in Physics and Mathematics in both S.S.C and H.S.C can apply for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) in World University of Bangladesh.
University Grant Commission (UGC), the highest regulatory body of the Universities of Bangladesh. It is also responsible to maintain and ensure the quality of higher education. For this purpose, the UGC has prescribed a uniform grading system for the universities to follow. World University of Bangladesh follows the grading system recommended by UGC.
