Short Biography:
I am Mahfuza Akter, holding a B. Pharm. Professional Degree and an M. Pharm. in Pharmacy, both earned from the esteemed Department of Pharmacy at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University. My academic journey included a 3-month hospital training program at 250 Bedded General Hospital in Tangail, as well as valuable industrial training at Beximco Pharmaceutical Ltd., one of Bangladesh's leading pharmaceutical companies. I have started my career as a lecturer at World University of Bangladesh from August 16, 2022. My research interests encompass a diverse range of topics, including natural products, diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases, phytochemical analysis, and the isolation of bioactive compounds from plant origins. Notably, my M. Pharm. thesis delved into the study of the antiglycation and antidiabetic properties of the plant Acmella uliginosa. At present, I am actively engaged in the process of publishing my research findings in reputable international journals.
