Biography

I am Rahima Akter, Lecturer of Department of Pharmacy, World University of Bangladesh. I have completed my B. Pharm Professional Degree which is a five years professional course having six months hospital attachment with different hospital from Jahangirnagar University. I have got chance to have the attachment with sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital and Kidney Foundation Hospital. My MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree has also been done from Jahangirnagar University. In my thesis work, I have done with heavy metal analysis and its impact on human body by appearing through food chain. This Research work was done combinedly in Wazed Miah Science Research Center, JU and in Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI). Then I started working in Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI) as a research fellow under the Food safety Laboratory of Animal Health Division. There I acquaintance with Microbial lab and Analytical Lab. I have experienced to work with a number of projects which focused on food safety in Bangladesh. As I am passionate for teaching I joined World University of Bangladesh In 13 January, 2020. 

I have a good number of national and international publications in some renowned Journals.
