Short Biography:

I have been working as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy, World University of Bangladesh, since 23 July, 2018. I have completed my Master’s from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK in Applied Biomolecular Technology and B. Pharm (Hons) from The East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have three years of working experience as a Research Officer at Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It should be mentioned that I further have research experience of working in a UK based biotechnology lab. I have also worked as a Research Associate at Institute of Nutrition and Food Science, University of Dhaka for three months. Apart from that I have worked as volunteer temporary office support staff at South London and Maudsley NHS Trust, London, UK. My working areas are molecular biology, microbiology, protein chemistry, analytical chemistry and phytochemistry. My philosophy of teaching and education is one that focuses on the student in order to empower them to be agents for change as the profession of pharmacy is changing every day.
