Anika Tabassum

Anika Tabassum is a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at the World University of Bangladesh. She completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Dhaka, followed by a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the same institution.
Her teaching interests span biopharmaceutics, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and clinical pharmacy, where she is committed to helping students integrate foundational concepts with practical applications in healthcare. In addition to teaching, she is actively engaged in research involving medicinal plants, drug formulation, synthetic drug development, Nano-formulation, molecular studies, and the pharmacological assessment of natural products. She is also deeply dedicated to supervising student research and fostering analytical and critical thinking skills among future pharmacy professionals.
